Solar Eclipse:

What is Solar Eclipse? Solar eclipse is a celestial event that occurs when the Sun, Moon, Earth all line up in a straight path such that the moon is in between the Sun and Earth. When the moon blocks the sun, we see the solar eclipse.

Solar Eclipse has occurred today in India between 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm in several parts of India in different timings. Solar eclipses should not be viewed with naked eyes. It can cause serious damages to eyes. Proper ways to look at the eclipse are:

1. use eclipse glasses

2.The pinhole projection method

This my personal experience, even though it is safe method to view solar eclipse by this method, if you are trying the experiment, it is at your own cost of risk, the author or the website is not responsible for any sort of damages caused to you by following the method.

I bought a lense of 15 cm focal length of aperture 75 mm. I stood opposite to the direction of sun, then placed the lens near the nearest screen such that its distance from screen is just more than 15 cm...just adjusted so that i can see a bit clear image in the screen. I was able to see the eclipse clearly. Never ever see the sun through the lens or with the naked eyes. I saw the image of the sun using lenses, not directly through the lenses or with naked eyes.
