We all see different objects in this world. Do you know what are they? Yes, they are matters, but what is a matter? Characteristic of matter? what are the things that are not matter? What is its definition? This post gives answer to all these questions.
What is matter?
If a material is said to have some weight, mass and volume and if it offers resistance. Then, it is said to be a matter.
Example: Taste, senses, emotion

2. bitter, sour

4. hate, love, care
Characteristic of Matter:
Mass:
The amount of the substance is called mass.
Weight:
The amount of substance with respect to gravity is called weight.
Volume:
The space occupied by an object in the surrounding is called volume.
E.g: Air, wood, bag, dry ice

Resistance ( should offer resistance)
The opposing force is called resistance.
What is non matter?
If an object does not have even anyone of the characteristics of matter, then it is called non matter.
